Eight Months Old!

I cannot believe the time has come for another month-birthday, and yet, here it is! Tomorrow Anna will turn eight months old. This first year is turning out to be the blink of an eye.
(By the way, I do realize that she has no hair and therefore absolutely no need for a bow, but I just can't resist. And believe it or not, it is holding onto hair!)

What a Playdate!

One of my girlfriends recently had a new baby. Her older son is Charlie's age and they go to school together and are the best of friends. My friend didn't find out the sex of her second baby, so you can imagine my overwhelming joy when she gave birth to a baby girl just 4 months after I had Anna. Two playdates in one! It can't get any better than that! So Tuesday as the boys played upstairs my friend and I chatted while the girls "played" on the floor. Apparently, Anna is a bit of a boring date...

Weird Weather

The weather here lately has swung from one extreme to the other in a matter of days. Within a week's time, we went from soaking up the sun to sledding down the street. Whatever the weather, we made the best of it!

Tuesday was sunny and in the 60's...

As always, Charlie cruising with the ladies...there would appear to be some sort of collision here, but I guess I missed that!

Here Anna is joined by her friend Abbi. And yes, Abbi is three months older than Anna. I love my monster baby!

Just two days later, Thursday was covered in snow...

Charlie and Daddy attempting (unsuccessfully) to build a snowman. The snow was just too powdery...

Once again, Anna watching from the sidelines. I put her exersaucer in front of the windows and opened the blinds so she could watch in warmth!
